Olive is pleased to announce its achievement in meeting requirements for ISO 27001, 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001. International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) is an independent institution with links to 161 national standards bodies. Furthermore, Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) is an internationally used British standard for performance in health and safety. Having these standards in place is validation of quality, safety and efficiency, all of which are essential to businesses including technology.
ISO 27001 specifies the requirements for information security management systems, the most widely recognised international standard for information security. It encompasses requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving the system in place, alongside the assessment and treatment of risks associated to the handled information.
In addition, Olive has met the criteria ISO 9001 which relays requirements for quality management systems. This standard provides guidance and tools for organisations that want to ensure their business meets the requirements of their customers. Furthermore, it sets out the means for continual improvement, providing efficiency whilst increasing productivity that benefits all key stakeholders.
ISO 14001 is a standard focusing on the environmental systems that are in place in an organisation. Creating a framework that can be followed up, 14001 enables a business to monitor and measure their environmental impact to eradicate any potential issues.
Finally, OHSAS 18001 sets out standards for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management system. This standard provides framework for an organisation to identify and control health and safety risks and reduce them. Furthermore, it sets out the criteria associated to the latest legislative measures. By doing so, this improves operational health and safety procedures.
As a technology organisation, Olive takes great pride and due diligence over this area of regulation and views these standards as fundamental enablers in the desire to continually improve. To achieve ISO certification, we went through a structured and rigorous audit by an independent examiner, confirming that we met the standards set by them. Having these standards in place allows Olive to improve operationally, build and maintain partnerships with other leading organisations to provide the best suite of products for our customers, and ensure the security of their information.
Thanks goes to the employees, customers and partners of Olive for their co-operation and ongoing support to our business.
